This is me running the cross country. I found it quite hard but at the end I finished. Probably my favorite part was going down the ditch

This is my speech that I have write over the few days. Hope you enjoy it.

1.Start planting trees. Have you ever stopped to think about what the world would be like without trees? Well actually we will all die because they produce the oxygen that we breathe. Also the roots of trees hold soil together and so prevent soil erosion which keeps our rivers clean. So, as a matter of fact ,trees are very important to our world. 2.Trees Trees absorb carbon dioxide. One large tree can supply a day's supply of oxygen for four people. Trees have other uses too. They provide a home for birds and other wildlife. They are used in construction.Eg houses and fencing. They are used to make furniture.Including chairs and tables. Also they are a renewable resource provided we keep planting more trees. See there's a lot of ways trees are used. 3. Some people cut down trees to make space for farming or housing. This practice reduces the number of trees in our environment and add to problems like global warming. Natural habitats for animals and birds are greatly reduced which causes their populations to decrease as well. 4. So, let us not be selfish and destroy our environment both for ourselves and for other creatures. Let's work together to look after our wonderful world. After all, we only have one world. 5. plant a tree How can everyone help to plant trees? Here's an idea. We could make one day a year National Tree Planting Day. On that day everyone should try to plant at least one tree.This will help us replace trees that have been cut down during the year. 6. conclusion So if everyone supported national tree planting day then lots of trees will be planted every year and that will be good for the environment and as well , keep us supplied with wood.
